Cincinnati, OH’s Yes for CPS/Issue 28 – Reauthorization

In 2016 Cincinnati Public Schools passed a 5-year operating levy that dedicated $15 million (of $48 million) annually to expanding preschool access. The levy was renewed in 2020 and then again in 2025 for another ten years. To date Cincinnati Preschool Promise has supported more than 13,000 preschoolers with tuition assistance, created 1,700 new preschool slots, and supported providers through quality improvement training and wage supplements.
