Annual Money Generated: $28 million

Measure 1B passed in 2025 and aims to make early care and education more accessible and affordable by distributing approximately $11 million annually to families to offset tuition costs and investing about $9 million annually into the early childhood workforce through  recruitment, retention, and salary increases. The fund also plans to invest $2 million annually into capital projects to increase the number of programs. Its first pilot programs and investment reports are expected in 2026.
