New Orleans, LA’s Yes for NOLA Kids

In April 2022, voters in New Orleans dedicated 5 mills of property tax to a portion of property tax to affordable, high-quality early care and education for infants and toddlers. The millage will generate $21 million annually, which will add 1,000 new early care and education seats while unlocking matching funding from the state that will add an additional 1,000 seats.
