Annual Money Generated: $209 million ($1.258 billion over six years)

The 2025 levy renewal nearly doubled the dedicated tax to expand existing programs under the Families, Education, Preschool, and Promise levy and launch new programs. The fund’s “Ready to Start” investments include 1,400 childcare slots (800 new), 3,100 Seattle Preschool Program seats (600 new), and a new workforce support program for 5,000 providers.
